We all struggle with the ups and downs of life. My passion is working with children (ages 3+) and families to promote healthy and happy individuals and relationships. I hope to help my clients enhance their own individual strengths, better their relationships with others, and enjoy the most out of everyday interactions and experiences.
Solution Focused and Attachment-Based therapy are the primary approaches I utilize in treating clients. As human beings, I believe we are wired to connect with others and that individual change and healing influences relational change and healing. Oftentimes, our struggles are a result of unhealthy patterns of thinking and behaving; I work collaboratively with my clients to help build skills that work for them and not against them. The development of new understandings and approaches to the challenges we face can make all the difference and starts, I believe, with open and honest communication in the therapeutic relationship.
Play therapy is an important part of my work with children. One of the ways a child first learns to communicate is through play, making play a critical part of a child’s world. It is important that children have the ability to communicate and express their needs, strengths, struggles, and experiences in a way that makes the most sense to them.
I view my role as a therapist as an added layer of support in my clients’ lives and feel privileged each day to provide a safe, non-judgmental, space for others to share their stories. I look forward to walking with my clients on their journey to healing, change, and growth!

How long does therapy take?
Some clients may feel relief or meet their therapeutic goals in just a few sessions, while other clients may require months or years to reach psychological wellness. Those with severe mental health disorders may benefit from lifelong therapy support. You and your counselor will regularly examine your goals and evaluate your improvement. Your counselor will help you decide when it's the right time to terminate treatment, but it's always your decision to end therapy at any time for any reason.
