We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things from our past. But you are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here now with the power to shape your day and your future.

I believe that everyone is capable of change. In working with people, I feel that it is important to honor an individual’s past, listen to their personal experiences, and respect their beliefs to better understand how they make meaning of their world. I am committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental environment that fosters self-exploration and personal growth.

Please let me assist you on your path to change.
LICENSE, EDUCATION, and EXPERIENCE
I am Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (#202836) in the state of Texas and the Clinical Director of The Resilience Center of Houston, The Woodlands location. I have completed Level 1, 2, and 3 training in Gottman Methods Couples Therapy, which I use in my work with couples, and I am a Medication Assisted Recovery Specialist in the state of Missouri. I have 8 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, and children with a strong emphasis on childhood trauma, behavioral issues, juvenile delinquency, and substance abuse disorders. My education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, both from the University of Central Florida.
Â
I am a wife and mother to three beautiful children. I am also an ACSM certified personal trainer and enjoy exercise, travel, and spending time with my family.
It's hard to see your child suffering and feel powerless to help. Your child may struggle with anxiety, behavior, self-esteem, academics, or fitting in with peers. Maybe your child is recovering from a trauma, parental divorce, or death in the family. We have trained professionals here to help.
Types of Counseling
What will my first therapy session be like?
After looking over your paperwork and informing you about confidentiality, you and your counselor will discuss your concerns, symptoms, personal history, and treatment goals. Your counselor will decide if they are the best clinician to meet your needs, and you will decide if your counselor is a comfortable fit.
