We all deserve to find joy and fulfillment in our life’s journey and bring something valuable to the world around us. I will help you discover the strengths, skills, habits, and perspectives you need to address challenges and get the most out of your life. Whether you are struggling with experiences from the past or confronting challenges in the present, we will work together to identify your internal and external barriers and find ways you can heal and achieve your goals.
My work is informed by evidence-based practices such as person-centered, solutions-focused, cognitive behavioral, and expressive interventions, and I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families to meet their unique treatment needs. As a Perinatal Mental Health-Certified therapist, I enjoy helping parents with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, difficulty adjusting, and childhood trauma take care of themselves so they can take care of their children and partner. As a Registered Play Therapist, I am trained to use the child’s natural language of play to bring about healing, skill building, and an increased awareness of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I nurture and guide adolescents and help them form a narrative of resilience around past and current difficulties, make sense of emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, and explore self, family, peers, and goals. In working with families, I engage all family members and address problems of communication, behavior, or bonding to increase joy and foster positive relationships.
My greatest honor as a therapist is being welcomed into the lives of others on their path to healing and loving connection.Â
