LCSW, CMNCS

Therapy with me is collaborative, body-aware, and tailored to who you are—not who you think you "should" be. I’m a holistic psychotherapist who helps adults and older adults get out of their heads and back into their bodies through a practical, no-fluff approach to mind-body therapy. Healing isn’t just about insight; it’s about reconnection, and it doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. I’m direct and down-to-earth, bringing a mix of structure, science, and humor to sessions. You’re a whole person—not a diagnosis—and I show up the same way to therapy: human first.

My style combines somatic therapy, nervous system regulation, and parts work with evidence-based models like CBT and EMDR. As a Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist (CMNCS), I also explore the role that nutrition, inflammation, and lifestyle may play in your mental health. If you're curious about how your gut, hormones, or habits might be affecting your mood and energy, we can bring that into the conversation too.

LICENSE, EDUCATION, and EXPERIENCE

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#66833) with a Master’s degree from the Garland School of Social Work at Baylor University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University. With a focus on trauma-informed care, I trained in EMDR early in my career and have continued expanding into somatic and integrative practices ever since, recently becoming a Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist. Before private practice, I worked in medical social work supporting clients in home health and skilled nursing environments and now focus exclusively on therapy for adults and older adults who are ready to engage in deeper, body-centered healing.

With over eight years in the field, I bring clinical depth and a grounded presence to my work—holding space for growth, clarity, and change that starts from within.

How long does therapy take?

Some clients may feel relief or meet their therapeutic goals in just a few sessions, while other clients may require months or years to reach psychological wellness. Those with severe mental health disorders may benefit from lifelong therapy support. You and your counselor will regularly examine your goals and evaluate your improvement. Your counselor will help you decide when it's the right time to terminate treatment, but it's always your decision to end therapy at any time for any reason.
