With the right support and a safe, nonjudgmental space, every person has the capacity to heal and grow. Meaningful change happens when individuals feel heard, validated, and understood, so I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust.
Â
Using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness techniques, I help clients gain insight into their internal world and develop emotional regulation to better cope with life challenges. My approach to therapy is rooted in a deep respect for each individual's unique experiences and personal strengths. By identifying and accessing their strengths, clients can build agency and autonomy and break free from patterns of self-limiting beliefs and behaviors.
Â
Therapy is a collaborative process, and each person’s path to healing is different. I take a flexible and individualized approach in meeting my clients where they are and honoring their pace and personal goals. Rather than providing solutions, I help clients clarify their values and desires and empower them to take steps toward a fulfilling and balanced life. Change is not always linear but is a process that unfolds over time, requiring patience and persistence.

LICENSE, EDUCATION, and EXPERIENCE
Â
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#109005) in Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Social Work degree from Boston College. My previous work in a psychiatric hospital and residential settings gave me fast-paced experience treating adolescents and adults via in-person and telemedicine platforms. I provided individual, family, and group therapy; conducted assessments and utilization reviews; staffed cases with a multidisciplinary team; and developed treatment plans and aftercare support for a wide variety of mental health and substance abuse issues.
